Top NFF Official Shot Dead

News reaching us from the Glass House of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, in Abuja confirms that one of its own has been killed.

The Federation, in a post on its Twitter handle, @thenff, on Wednesday morning, announced the death of its Head of Protocol, Ibrahim Abubakar.

Abubakar was said to have been shot dead by some armed robbers at his residence in Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday.

“NFF’s Head of Protocol Ibrahim Abubakar was shot dead by armed robbers in his house in Abuja in the early hours of today,” the NFF said in the tweet.

At the moment, his “remains is being taken to Kaduna for burial.”
