Melaye Tears PDP Constitution

Senator Dino Melaye, on Tuesday, at a event held in Cross River State, reportedly tore the constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and also the membership card of the party of Paul Adah, who defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, from the PDP.

Adah is the immediate past commissioner representing Cross River State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

Melaye, who is the Chairman of the Senate ad hoc Committee on Publicity, boasted that his party would take over the state, which presently belongs to the opposition party.

At the occasion, which took place at the APC ward secretariat in Ohong-Begiadang community of the Obudu Local Government Area, where the state governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, also hails from, Melayo stressed that the PDP is the brain behind problems facing Nigerians today, while assuring the people that the APC will bring succour to them.

In his remarks, Adah said decided to join the APC because he wanted to identify with the spirit of change. He vowed to work hard to bring change to the state.

Present at the function were the National Vice-Chairman of the APC, South-South, Hilliard Eta and other eminent personalities in the state.
