Channels TV is reporting that candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Saturday, November 21, 2015, Kogi governorship election, Audu Abubakar is dead.
Abubakar was said to have breathed his last shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the poll inconclusive.
The reputable television station reports that the state government has confirmed the demise of Abubakar, who once governed the state.
He was said to have died of an undisclosed illness.
