President Muhammadu Buhari and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, were captured smiling at each other on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at an event organised to mark the country’s Independence Day celebration.
Before now, there had been reports that the President and Saraki had not been on speaking terms.
Some speculated that Buhari is still angry with the Senate President over his emergence into the position.
Reports had suggested that Saraki had sent some powerful personalities to the President to beg on his behalf.
Today’s incident may have now put to rest speculations that Buhari and Saraki have not yet reconciled.
