The immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, has returned to Nigeria from his trip abroad.
Akpabio was flown abroad after he was involved from a car accident in Abuja few weeks ago. He was first rushed to the National Hospital in Abuja before taken to the UK for further treatment.
While away, he was accused of leaving Nigeria to escape being arrested by the Federal Government through the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Akpabio, who is now in the National Assembly representing Ikot Ekpene senatorial district, arrived Nigeria via the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja.
