Multiple Explosions Kill Scores In Maiduguri

Several blasts around Ajilari Railway Cross of Gomari Airport ward of Maiduguri have left many persons dead on Sunday night.

The explosions were said to have occurred simultaneously in the area, leaving several people dead and seriously injured.

It is believed that members of the deadly group called Boko Haram must have carried out the latest attacks in the area.

According to information reaching us, more than one suicide bombers first attacked at about 7:36pm at strategic locations at the same time, while the last one detonated his bomb at about 8pm. This has forced several residents to flee for safety.

Ajilari is in the outskirt of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.
