Boko Haram Flees Battlefield, Abandons Properties

The onslaught on members of the terrorists group called Boko Haram by the Nigerian troops has recorded a massive result going by the latest information released by the army.

Since President Muhammadu gave a marching order to the new Service Chiefs to defeat Boko Haram in the country in three months, the insurgents have not had it easy.

Few weeks ago, the Nigerian troops raided camps used by the insurgents and the group has suffered great loses.

Some of the terrorists fled their camps recently as the Nigerian forces launched attacks on them, abandoning their vehicles, flags and foodstuffs at Kotambe Kote and Jere axis.

According to the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, troops of 101 Battalion along with members of Nigeria Police Explosive Ordinance Device (EOD) team, on Saturday, September 19, 2015, successfully detonated two bicycles laden with primed Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at Awaisari village near Alou Dam.
