President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, Sanusi Ado Bayero, who was appointed by the immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan, in April 2015.
Bayero was removed from office by the President on Thursday with immediate effect, a statement by Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, disclosed.
Jonathan appointed him as the MD of NPA after he had removed Habibu Abdullahi from the position.
However, President Muhammadu Buhari has reinstated Abdullahi and has ordered Bayero to handover all government property in his possession to the new MD.
