According to a report reaching our news room, a small plane has crashed into a lagoon in Lagos. The helicopter, we learnt, crashed into a lagoon behind a police station at Oworosoki.
However, spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, in South-West, Ibrahim Farinloye, who confirmed the incident, could not ascertain if the jet belongs to the military, commercial or private user.
Meanwhile, rescue officials have since moved to the scene of the crash.
