President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Dr Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the new head of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
Until now, Kachikwu was the Executive Vice Chairman of ExxonMobil Africa.
He is to take over the leadership of the country’s petroleum body from Joseph Darwa.
Kachikwu is a trained lawyer and publisher of the popular Hints Magazine. He hails from Onicha Ugbo in Aniocha North local government area of Delta State.
