President Muhammadu Buhari has written a letter to the Senate requesting the approval of the Service Chiefs he recently appointed.
The Senate resumed plenary on Tuesday morning after going on recess some weeks ago.
During their break, the President fired the Service Chiefs he inherited from the immediate past administration of Goodluck Jonathan and appointed new ones in acting capacity.
According to the Constitution, the National Assembly must confirm the appointments of Service Chiefs.
