Buhari Yet To Appoint Chief Of Staff

Aproko247 has reliably learnt that President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to name his Chief of Staff contrary to what is being speculated in a section of the online media.

There were reports on Monday that the President had appointed Hamid Ibrahim Ali, as his Chief of Staff. Ali was the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1996 to 1998 under the regime of the late General Sani Abacha.

However, the retired military officer has been widely tipped to hold the position.

But a source in the known in Abuja told our correspondent that Buhari is yet to announce Ali as his Chief of Staff as being widely rumoured.

“The President has not announced Ali as his Chief of Staff,” the source told us on Monday afternoon.
