A well-known market in Maiduguri, capital of Borno State, which has come under attacks by terrorists, experienced another bomb explosion on Saturday evening.
It was gathered that a suicide bomber struck a popular market in the city, claiming some lives and injuring many persons. However, we could not ascertain of the actual number of people that died in the blast.
We learnt that the attacker stormed the busy Cow Market in Maiduguri disguised as a buyer, before detonating the bomb. But some lucky traders and others in the market quickly ran to safety immediately.
