The atmosphere at the moment in Ekiti State, especially in the state capital, Ado-Ekiti, can be likened to what is experienced during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Most residents of the state have trooped to the streets to celebrate the inauguration of the 26 lawmakers of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, into the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
As at the time of filing this report, the ceremony had begun.
Invited guests, members of the public and the lawmakers were already been seated, while the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, arrived the venue of the event on a motorcycle from one of the commercial riders in Ado-Ekiti.
