Aproko247 has learnt that some residents of Ekiti State are worried over presence of hoodlums on major roads leading into Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
The thugs, we were told, have blocked the roads, apparently to prevent the 19 lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from entering the city, and eventually getting to the State House of Assembly to carry out their alleged plans of impeaching the state governor.
For some months now, the opposition lawmakers and Governor Ayo Fayose have been at loggerheads.
It was gathered that as early as 7am on Wednesday, the hoodlums had blocked major roads leading into Ado-Ekiti from Olasore, Ikere, ide and Efon Alaye sections.
On Tuesday, Fayose urged residents of the state to prevent the Assembly members from removing him as governor. He presently enjoys the sympathy of Ekiti people.
