After much pressure on him to bow out as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Adamu Muazu, has finally resigned.
Calls for his resignation came following the woeful performance of the ruling party at the 2015 general elections in the country, which led to the PDP losing the presidential poll to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Muazu resigned from his position on Wednesday and it takes immediate effect.
