Opeyemi Bamidele Quits Labour Party, Rejoins APC

Former governorship candidate of Labour Party in Ekiti State, Opeyemi Bamidele, has left the party to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Bamidele, who earlier left the APC when he could not get the party’s ticket to contest in the gubernatorial election in 2014, announced his defection on Tuesday. He led some of his supporters to the secretariat of the APC in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, to join the opposition party in the state.
