The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has dismissed former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, from the party barely three hours after he announced his exit from the PDP.
On Monday morning, after months of romancing the main opposition party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Obasanjo announced that he was no longer a member of the PDP, and thereafter tore his membership card into pieces.
Apparently angered by the development, the state chapter of Nigeria’s ruling party wielded its sledge hammer on the former BoT Chairman of the PDP.
