A raging inferno has consumed the Rivers State High Court located at Degema in Degema local government area of the state.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, February 2, 2015.
According to reports, the fire affected almost all parts of the court’s building. It started at about 4am, we were informed, but the cause of the flames could not be ascertained as at the time of filing in this report.
The fire is coming barely 48 hours after some judicial workers under the aegis of JUSUN were directed by their leaders to return to work after weeks at home.
