Ex-Niger Delta Affairs Minister Takes PDP Guber Form

Former Minister of Niger-Delta Affairs, Sam Ode, has obtained the governorship nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The former Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Local Government Affairs is hoping to be the gubernatorial candidate of his party in Benue State in 2015.

It was learnt that Ode picked his nomination form on Thursday at the PDP Wadata Plaza Secretariat in Abuja.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Thursday, the ex-Minister stated that his desire to serve and lead his people to greatness inspired his decision intention to become the Governor of Benue State.

Ode showered praises on the incumbent governor of his state, Gabriel Suswam, for developing Benue State. The former Minister told newsmen that he was inspired by Suswam’s provision of infrastructure in Benue State, which he wishes to improve on.
