Several hundreds of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, ISIL, fighters in Kobane town of Syria have been killed by air strikes coordinated by the United States of America, USA, Aproko247 has gathered.
For about two days now, the US has led close to 50 air strikes in the Kurdish town of Kobane and it is likely that more onslaught would be launched in days to come. The incident, Aproko247 learnt from reports, has left the rebels demoralised.
Despite the development, a Pentagon spokesman, Rear Admiral John Kirby, has warned that Kobane could still fall to the terrorists group.
With the heavy casualties suffered from air strikes, the ISIL fighters have retreated from Kobane, a Syrian border town with Turkey.
The US launched the air strikes in Syria on September 22.
