Army Orders Detention Of ‘Timid’ General

Following an alleged show of fear displayed by a Brigadier-General attached to the 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army recently on a battle field, authorities of the Army have ordered the arrest and detention of the senior officer.

It was learnt that the officer’s action led to the easy capture of a community in Borno State recently by members of the deadly terrorist group called Boko Haram.

During the battle, according to reports, some military officers lost their lives while many others fled the fight due to the bravery display of the terrorists and the weak direction given by the senior officer to his team.

It was also said that the army General could not boost the morale of his men, which made them to lose the combat to the insurgents. The terrorists had a field day in descending on the community, we learnt.

Going by further information scraped by this magazine, the Commanding Officer was allegedly leading his team from behind while his men were in front of the battle fighting.

In recent time, men of the Nigerian Army have been winning the war against terrorism in the North East of the country. Some of the towns taken over by the insurgents have been recaptured by the Nigerian troops.
