Gifted Artiste, Slam Returns With ‘Sweeter’

Just when some had thought it was the end of the road for the music career of popular singer, Udoka Oguamanam, famously known as Slam, he has made another astonishing return to the showbiz world that gave him fame many years ago.

The highly talented artiste is already waking the consciousness of many in the entertainment industry with his scintillating single entitled ‘Sweeter’.

‘Sweeter’ is a pop reggae fusion which features reggae maestro, Rhymzo. At the moment, the song is being highly requested by radio listeners while it has started setting most clubs on fire, with many fun-seekers dancing to its beat.

Slam, speaking on the new project, said that, “I want everybody to always be true to that special someone because when all else goes you will realize that that person is sweeter than anything you ever had.”

He further pointed out that, “This is a major hit among other hit songs that I will be releasing soon. I am also looking to have a couple of great collaborations as well.”

“After my studies in the UK, I decided to develop other aspects of myself, though I was still involved in a lot of music projects behind the scenes. For instance, I produced sound tracks for top Nollywood movies such as I’ll Take My Chances by Emem Isong; Holding Hope which featured Uche Jumbo; Kiss and Tell by Monalisa Chinda; Okon In Lagos by Uduak Isong Oguamanam and many more,” Slam also said.

The easy going handsome singer came into limelight with the critically acclaimed single ‘Ibu Chineke’, released on the Kennis Music label. He also released ‘Dreaming About You’ and ‘Party On’.

Following the successful launch of three albums, Slam left Nigeria at the height of his music career in 2005 to pursue a Masters degree in Marketing in the United Kingdom. However, while in the UK, Slam never entirely left music as he occasionally played in clubs.

‘Sweeter’ was produced by George Nathaniel for S’ Ent. Records.
