Don't Use Masked Security Forces For Polls Again–Jega

Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Attahiru Jega, has kicked against the use of masked security operatives during elections. According to the INEC boss, they (masked security forces) scare voters from getting involved in the voting process.

Jega said though he is aware of the role of security personnel in elections, but the new trend experienced in the recently concluded Osun polls is a clear indication that such is not the best way to move forward.
