Security operatives, on Wednesday in Katsina, apprehended three bombers suspected to be members of Boko Haram. They were nabbed with explosives, Coordinator of National Information Centre, Mike Omeri, disclosed.
Omeri said one of the three suspects was a 10-year-old girl, who was found strapped with an explosive belt tied round her waist.
He further said one male adult and another teenage girl aged 18 were also arrested by the security forces in Katsina.
The arrest came hours after teenage suicide bombers attacked in Kano, a neighbouring state.
The Boko Haram group, over three months ago, kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls in Borno State and has yet to release them.
