Laide Bakare Moves To America Amid Hubby’s EFCC Trouble

For some months now, the new husband of top Nigerian actress, Laide Bakare, Tunde Orilowo, has been battling with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over an alleged fraud worth billions of naira.

This led to the confiscation of the man’s known properties as well as the boutique he opened for Laide Bakare in Lagos.

It was once reported that Orilowo left the shores of the country to Canada to evade arrest by the EFCC, but Aproko247 has learnt that the actress is not in Nigeria at the moment.

“Laide (Bakare) is now in the US,” a colleague of hers informed this magazine, “she travelled to the US to rest and also to shoot some scenes for her new movie, but will be back soon,” the colleague further told Aproko247.

Laide Bakare was once married to a US-based Nigerian named Tunde Okufulire, who accused the actress of infidelity. He further accused the actress of marrying him for Green Card.
