Gunmen Kill 33, Abduct 54 Girls In Borno Village

A community in Borno State has been attacked by gunmen believed to be members of the dreaded Islamic sect called Boko Haram.

It was gathered that the incident occurred in Kummabza village under Damboa local government area of Borno State, where insurgency has been on the rise for a while despite a state of emergency imposed on the state by the Federal Government.

According to what our reporter further gathered, the hoodlums stormed the village in a commando style, killing about 33 persons and abducting close to 54 girls.

The abduction is coming more than 60 days after the terrorist group kidnapped more than 250 secondary school girls in Chibok, also in Borno State.
