The late Islamic leader was said to have died on Tuesday in a United Kingdom hospital, where he had gone for treatment. Information gathered by this magazine reveals that the deceased died of cancer.
His corpse is expected in Nigeria on Thursday and would be buried in Ibadan, we were informed. Late Arisekola-Alao was, until his death, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland. He became controversial for his romance with late military dictator, General Sani Abacha.
