Christ Embassy Pastor To Marry Dead Secret Lover

According to a report by Punch, a pastor with Christ Embassy Church, simply identified as Pastor Hillary, will be forced to perform a marriage rite with his deceased secret lover, who he allegedly impregnated while she was alive.

It was learnt that the man of God had a secret romantic affair with a member of the church’s choir called Vivian Ndukwu, 28, and put her in the family way. The lady was said to have died few days after she gave birth to the child.

The parents of the deceased are now requesting that, according to their tradition, the 29-year-old Christ Embassy pastor must ‘walk down the aisle’ with their late daughter.

“My family and the pastor’s family have met and we agreed that Hillary will perform all the marriage rites for my late daughter according to the tradition of our people. We are doing this because a child is involved. The pastor did not deny his responsibility, so the normal thing must be done,” father of late Vivian, Emmanuel Ndukwu, was quoted to have said.

It was reported that in a bid to hide their illicit affair from the church, Hillary sent his pregnant lover to Agbara in Ogun State to stay with a woman who operates an orphanage in the town.

But Vivian allegedly informed her parents that she was going to Abuja. She was reportedly at the orphanage until she was delivered of a baby girl on May 3, 2014.

However, eight days after the child delivery, she was reportedly taken to a hospital after she complained of fever and headache. She eventually died, while her remains had been taken to the Badagry General Hospital morgue.

The matter, according to what we gathered, is presently being investigated by the Homicide Section of the SCID in Yaba, Lagos.
