New Ajeh Clothing Designs Showcased

One of Nigeria’s most creative indigenous fashion designers, Tony Okoye, has unveiled new designs of his unisex clothing line, Ajeh Wears. Those conversant with trendy fashion designs will attest to the fact that Ajeh designs are highly requested in the market, which has placed the brand among the respected in the fashion industry.

Tony, who is not relenting in satisfying the enormous needs of his loyal customers, has gone the extra mile to put smiles on the faces of many with the unveiling of his new designs, which come in various sizes. They are also trendy and classy with a perfect blend of Western and African cuts.

Some of them include tank tops, crop tops, shirts; long sleeve and short, T-shirts; round and open V-neck to mention a few.

Tony, a Creative Arts graduate of the University of Maiduguri, stated that his designs are inspired from the true art of African culture and paintings, and has been created since 1996. He added that ‘Ajeh’ is coined from the word ‘Ajehbutter,’ meaning born with a golden spoon.

In his words, “Due to popular demand, we now have online stores with Konga, Jumia and Bayam, and more are still coming. We have opened more outlets, where the wears can easily be purchased. Our Lagos store is located at Road 5, Shop I-303, Ikota Shopping Complex, VGC. We also have outlets in Calabar and Ibadan, while wholesalers and retailers are also welcome.”

Ajeh Wear is a clothing line that is mostly patronized by celebrities in Nigeria. Virtually all the major players in the country’s music, movie and comedy industries adorn the outfit.

Even American Pop star, Akon described Ajeh Wear as an “urbanizing African design, infused with rich and true African nature.”
