Prominent Enugu based spiritualists recently organized a prayer and fasting session for the former Information Minister, Prof Dora Akunyili, whose sickness has defied medications despite several trips to the USA.
A three-day prayer and fasting period was recently held and totally dedicated to the Nanka, Anambra State born woman, who was once the Director General of the Nigerian Foods and Drugs Administration and Control Agency, NAFDAC.
Akunyili, who is a delegate at the on-going national conference in Abuja, is the owner of Enugu State-based Solid FM Radio Station and Fidelma Hotel, situated on Ezillo Avenue, Independence Layout, Enugu.
She is presently in India receiving treatment to enable her bounce back. She has been rumoured twice recently to have died, which her media aide, Isaac Umunna, has also vehemently debunked.
