The city of Jos, capital of Plateau State, was again bombed by some suspected terrorists on Saturday. The latest explosion is the third in less than a week.
Barely four days ago, two bombs exploded within the pace of 30 minutes in Jos Terminus Market, a very busy area in the cold city, killing more than 175 persons.
Saturday’s blast occurred at about 9pm at a football viewing centre around Murtala Mohammed near the main campus of University of Jos, where some people were watching a Champions League Final match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
