Aides By Day, Conspirators At Night By Prince Chuks Daniel

The truism of sincerity can best be described as the full basis of submission to whoever such loyalty is affirmed to. The  true essence of a Personal Assistant or an aide as the case may be is to protect the interest of one’s employer, irrespective of whatever parallel interest that may interface outside the full concentration of the host or employer as the case may be.

This, however, brings us to the latest episodes that has permuted the entire image of the country. If the President, whose heels have never known rest from the day of his inception and swearing-in and if up till now, same has become a norm with all the personal aides surrounding him, it therefore calls for focus shift for considerable equation and evaluation. e

How well have these personal assistants faired in contributing their quota to the hearing of the President, who depend solely on them being his kitchen cabinet?

The circumstances surrounding the entirety of the event taking place in this country have been calling for general participation. But even when some Nigerians lend their voices (though not all see reasonable), there seems to be easy dismissal of their views which of course do not get to the notice of the President himself, but usually get exterminated by these Personal Assistants, who feed fat often times from their obnoxious and monotonous activities.

To some persons, especially those who believe nothing extraordinary have taken place while few pay attention and go about their normal businesses as though the events are nothing short of normal.

In all these facets of acrimonious jingoism and wishful illusion, one will be compelled to ask at what point did the structure of our once adorable edifice start collapsing without notice. There is no smoke without fire hence, every effect has a cause and any cause which produces effect is worthy of investigation and not just a hasty condemnation.

No enemy wishes to lose a battle to his archenemy, so also it is in the context of what’s taking place today in the country. But in same vein, if it warrants one engaging the services of his enemy in order to triumph over obvious war, one should do that without a recourse to being boastful or shameful.

The President, without calling spade a shovel, is surrounded with lots of charlatans and sycophants whose only view about paying homage or being loyal to the authority is aimed for personal aggrandisement. It is often said that the ruffle of a stream begins with the innermost areas and it is always calm except if tempered with.

I weep for the impudent of so many rhetorical analogies by those who have so wholly classified themselves as demi gods and who are not just feeding fat from the shortcomings and sad eventss in the country, but also feeding fat from the opposition whose view about being an opposition is the theory of  ‘drag and pull him down’ syndrome.

The so called aides surrounding the President are truly aides during the day, but conspirators at night who attend nocturnal meetings with the enemies of the President who never wished him well. P

I therefore ask; if the opposition really mean well, what will it take to cooperate with this Otuoke PhD holder in order to get rise of the groggyness in the country but have rather been using it to campaign that they will wipe out the insurgency if elected into power? Does it goes to say that Nigeria is splitted into party area of concentration of interest? The betrayals of the President who posit themselves to eat with both hands do not have any interest of the President at heart nor the interest of the masses. P

I am concerned and uncomfortable because from all indication and from the circle, this bell of blackmail and hatred is ringing every nooks and crannies of the country. Our prayer should be that, may our dear President that is so feeble hearted and whose free mindedness continue to live for us and never ends up like Aguiyi Ironsi whose trust of personal guards and belief of oneness led to his sad demise. That will not only breed problem but metamorphose into an unknown brouhaha.

If the President wishes to sail smoothly, there are some aides or Special 🙂 Assistants, as the case may be, that ought not to be in the cabinet presently.

These are sell outs who are only interested in what they can benefit from the bounty irrespective of where the gains are coming from. Many have their one foot erected in Aso rock and the other outside the Villa, while some are playing the quiet game of sceptical obedience to the President.  P

I am not an apostle of selectivity but the present rancour and disarray that have ramshackle the structure of the country and the manner at which the opposition has been calling for the head of the President is nothing short of rebellious act and obvious suspicion of quiet participation of “pull him down”.

All these hallelujah singers praising and at the same time mimicking Goodluck Ebele Jonathan are all bunch of whiskers. Their musciferous attitudes which have now become obvious cannot be subjected to oblivion but handled with core seriousness because when a master succeeds, his servants are rewarded but if his house is infested with lots of Judas and greedy Ananiases, I am afraid such house doors will always be left open for intruders at night. Take heed Mr President and act fast, a word is enough for the wise.
