Twin Blasts Tear Jos Apart

Two explosions occurred in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, on Tuesday afternoon, killing no fewer than seven persons and injuring several others.

The blasts occurred at the busy Jos Main Market, causing many motorists to scamper for safety. Residents of the state capital were left in confusion as thick black smoke took over the air.

It is believed that the explosions were from bombs used by some suspected terrorists. The blasts affected areas near the Railway Terminus and the temporary site of the Jos University Teaching Hospital.

An eyewitness told Aproko247 that seven bodies burnt beyond recognition was seen at the scene of the incident; however, no security official could confirm this to us.
