For popular Nigerian music artiste, Harrison Tare Okiri, otherwise known as Harrysong, but now preferred to be addressed as Mr Songz, such happen, whether intentionally or not. For those who may not know, he is a child from such abominable act.

The successful singer told a Lagos-based magazine, Yes International, that, “they (his parents) separated because I was given birth to by two relations.

“My father and mother are actually brother and sister. They gave birth to me before they could realize that. It was a big abomination, so they had to separate. Even, they attempted to kill my father in that village, but he fled, because in Warri where I come from, it is a taboo. They termed it incest.”

So, the next time you watch a Nollywood film with such storyline, you have no reason to doubt it as such really happen in the society.
