Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, has directed authorities of the Yola International Airport to commence full flight operations at the facility with the use of the newly-built terminal. She gave the order on Friday in Yola while inspecting the upgraded facilities at the airport.
Oduah expressed satisfaction at the level of rehabilitation carried out at the airport, which she said met international standard. She also hinted that the inauguration of the facility would be done soon.
The Minister then told the airport authorities to go ahead with full operations without waiting for when the facility will be officially inaugurated by the government.
Rehabilitation work began at the Yola International Airport in 2013.
