Information just reaching our news desk confirms that the 320 Boko Haram suspects apprehended by the Rivers State Police Command three days ago have regained freedom.
Recall that few days ago, some Northerners, believed to be members of the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists group, were reportedly arrested by the police in the Rivers State. They suspects were nabbed at a border town between Imo and Rivers States.
However, we have just gathered that the police in the state released the suspects following the intervention of an 8-member delegation of the Jigawa State House of Assembly to Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, on Wednesday.
