God Has Told Me Again To Contest In 2015–Okotie

Controversial man of God, Rev Chris Okotie, has made known his intention to contest in the presidential election come 2015. The Senior Pastor at the Household of God Church, Ikeja, Lagos, told Punch that he’s willing to become Nigeria’s President, having failed in his two earlier attempts.

Okotie revealed that he would contest for Presidency under the platform of the Fresh Democratic Party. The party was recently de-registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, but a court verdict in June 2013 reverted the action.

“I will run in 2015, God willing.

“God spoke to me about my participation in the political process, which was why I took the step in the first place. He has not said anything contrary,” Okotie told Punch.

“I don’t want to talk about our strategy for now, we have learnt from our past experience, we don’t want to talk about it for now,” the man of God replied when asked of his strategy for the election.
