No fewer than four persons were feared dead in a fresh attack in Plateau State. The incident took place on Tuesday morning in Riyom area of the state.
It was learnt that children were among the four people killed in the attack. The incident also left about 15 persons injured.
The gunmen, numbering about 10, as we gathered, stormed the village while residents were still fast asleep. The attackers used various dangerous weapons to unleash mayhem on their victims.
The invasion was said to have occurred around 3am.
We scooped that victims of the attack have been taken to Vom Christian Hospital in Riyom.
