Tanzania has been thrown into mourning following the death of the country’s Finance Minister, William Mgimwa. The minister died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in a Pretoria hospital in South Africa.
The South African Government, on Friday, confirmed the passing away of Mgimwa in their country. He died after undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment. The South African Government stated that no foul play was suspected in death of Mgimwa.
Mgimwa’s death is coming barely 48 hours after a former head of Rwandan military’s external intelligence service, Patrick Karegeya, died in a Johannesburg hotel in South Africa. He was found strangled in his hotel.
