The Lebanese boss that assaulted his pregnant staff, Kaveh Noine, has been nabbed by men of the Lagos State Police Command. Noine was apprehended on Friday in Kano, and was transported back to Lagos, where he allegedly committed the crime.
Few days ago, it was reported that Noine allegedly kicked pregnant Alexandra Ossai in the stomach, which caused the woman to lose her pregnancy. Ossai was a supervisor at Toppan Printing Company, Lagos, before she was sacked after the incident.
The Lebanese’ arrest came shortly after President Goodluck Jonathan ordered an investigation into the matter.
Nigerians have called for the prosecution of the Lebanese boss of Ossai. Many expressed concerns at the way many Nigerians are being assaulted at work by foreigners.
