Nigerian banks have restructured limits on withdrawals done with their ATMs on both domestic and foreign transactions.
With the new review, Naira cash withdrawal at ATMs is now N60,000 per day instead of the former N150,000. Also, the limit for foreign currency withdrawal is now $300 per day.
According to the new arrangement, the traditional ATM has been separated from the MasterCard credit card. It means the traditional ATM can no longer be used transactions abroad. A single ATM will no longer serve for transactions for both domestic and abroad.
