Buhari Disbands NNPC Board

Board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has been dissolved by President Muhammadu Buhari.

A statement issued on Friday by Director of Communications for the Head of Service of the Federation, Haruna Imrana, disclosed that the affected nine members of the board are to quit with immediate effect.

The President, also in the statement, expressed gratitude to members of the dissolved board for their services to the nation.

Members of the dissolved board include:

Dr Joseph T Dawha – Group Managing Director

Bernard O N Otti – Group Executive Director, Finance & Accounts

Dr Dan Efebo Group Executive Director, Corporate Services

Abdullahi Bukar – Member

Danladi Wadzani – Member

Prof Olusegun Okunnu – Member

Danladi Kifasi – Member

Steven Oronsaye – Member

Ikechukwu Oguine – Coordinator, Legal Services/ Secretary to the Corporation.
