The marriage of $exy actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has survived many storms and she is one of the Nigerian stars that has had a successful union. Her marriage has lasted more than 17 years and from the look of things, there is no sign that it would hit the rock anytime soon.

In a showbiz world where marriages easily crumble like badly arranged packs of cards, Omosexy, as some of her fans prefer to address her, has kept her union with Captain Mathew Ekeinde sacred as it should be.

No wonder her marriage was profiled by a popular magazine few years ago alongside President Barak Obama and Jay Z’s marriages.

In a recent interview, the superstar screen goddess explained that even though her passion for her husband sometimes dies, she reawakens it by staying separated from her man for a period of time. She noted that this strategy has worked wonders for her.

When asked about it, hear what she said, “Which married woman who has been with her husband for years will, in her true state, tell you that the feeling has remained the same as it was the first time or the first year she met her husband? It is bound to cool off.

“What I recommend to women is what I call ‘temporary separation.’ You will make yourself unavailable to your husband. Go somewhere; go on vacation with your friends, do something bold, lose weight, look different and, after weeks, come home, looking drop dead gorgeous, and I bet you, the fire of passion will be mightily rekindled and you will feel brand new again.”

According to Omotola, “I have applied this principle in my marriage and it has worked wonders.”
