At Last, P-Square Resolves Issues

If feelers reaching Aproko247 is anything to go by, it means all is now well for the earlier troubled Nigerian music group, P-Square, as Peter and Paul have now towed the path of peace.

It was squealed to us by an industry source that Peter and Paul have finally agreed to remain together as one to operate their successful P-Square brand.

“Several meetings were held by some family members and selected friends in the industry with the boys. They were warned of the consequences of splitting and we thank God that all is now well,” the source informed Aproko247.

“You see, things like this happen and it takes wisdom to handle them. Like you know, they have been having misunderstandings in the past especially when their albums were about to be released, but none went public or went as far as this. They can’t jeopardise their ‘P-Square brand’ and they know that very,” the source added further.

Peter Okoye corroborated our source’s statements when he took to Twitter in the early hours of Friday to write, “forever P-Square,” which indicated that he has finally agreed to work in the group again.

From what Aproko247 gathered, Peter initially got angry because of the way his elder brother, Jude, was handling the group and the issue of his wife (Lola Omotayo). We learnt that Peter became furious because Jude had practically turned him into a dancer, while Paul remained the singer, a development he (Peter) was not pleased with. One the issue of his wife, it was alleged that Jude has always disrespected the woman because their late mother never wanted Peter to get married to the Yoruba mother of Peter’s two children.
