Information reaching us indicates that the caucus of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, has ratified the resignation of its National Chairman, Bamanga Tukur.
Tukur tendered his resignation to the PDP and the Presidency on Wednesday, after so much pressure on him by some aggrieved members of the party.
The top members of the ruling party are presently having a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The National Executive Council, NEC, members will meet on Thursday as planned.
