BREAKING: Saraki Emerges Senate President

Former Governor of Kwara State, Bukola Saraki, has been elected by his colleagues in the Senate as their leader.

Saraki, though a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was adopted by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as their sole candidate prior to his election on Tuesday.

The new Senate President was elected at the inauguration of the 8th National Assembly.
