Ex-Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, Returns To PDP

The immediate past Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan, has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with his supporters.

Uduaghan formally re-joined the PDP on Monday morning in his hometown, Abigborodo in Warri North Local Government Area of the state after being with the All Progressives Congress (APC) for two years.

The former Governor wrote on his Facebook handle this morning, in a post titled: “I AM BACK HOME”.

He said “I am back to join forces with other party leaders to strengthen our party, the largest Party in Africa -PDP!

“Haven tasted the other side, it feels refreshing to be back home! Thank you all for receiving me back. It feels like I never left. God bless you!”

Uduaghan, a medical doctor turned politician, joined the APC in August 2018, where he contested for a senatorial seat but lost.

There were allegations of a cold-war between him and his successor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, but that seems to be in the past now as Uduaghan was recently sighted at an event with Governor Okowa.

The resolved issue might have prompted former Governor to return back to the PDP where he was one of the founding members.
