Ibinabo Takes AGN To Jonathan

President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Ibinabo Fiberesima, on Tuesday, led some members of the guild to Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power.

She, along with about 79 other stakeholders in Nollywood, paid a courtesy visit to President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja and installed him as AGN’s Grand Patron.

Nollywood gladiators like Stephanie Okereke-Linus, Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Fred Amata, Chidi Mokeme, Monalisa Chinda, Desmond Elliot were among the 80-man delegate that visited Jonathan on Tuesday.

Ibinabo’s tenure is expected to end in 2014, but she is yet to declare if she would run for a second term in office. She was first elected in 2012 and became the guild’s first female President.
