In March 2016, Chairman of UBA, Tony Elumelu, clocked 53 and to celebrate the day, his friends made a cake for him.
The cake was designed to have roasted plantain commonly called ‘boli’ in south west Nigeria and groundnuts.
The CEO of Heirs Holdings Ltd almost confused the cake to be real roasted plantains and groundnuts.
The Nigerian billionaire shared the picture on his Twitter page and this has kept making people talking about the creativity of the cake designer.
“Throwback to my birthday in March this year. My colleagues almost had me thinking this was actually Boli. What an interesting cake that would’ve been – I love Boli,” Elumelu wrote.
